One- to Four-Week Programs:
Work Teams provide our constituency with a hands-on practical opportunity to serve alongside national believers on our mission fields, to become more familiar with our outreach efforts, and to develop a stronger connection between our churches locally and internationally. EMC work teams have a long history of going out to humbly serve in practical ways with the gifts God has given. One- to Two-Year Programs:
Ascend is a missions internship program for those who sense God’s call to missions. The purpose of the program is to provide interns with a broader understanding of EMC’s missions work, to prepare them for future service as they work alongside career missionaries, and to give them a context in which to develop their gifts in outreach, leadership, intercession and discipleship. Interns will spend between one and two years on an active mission field where they will receive ministry coaching from veteran missionaries within a supportive team environment. Niverville Community Fellowship is seeking an Interim Pastor for a one year term. The Interim Pastor will be a fully-devoted follower of Jesus Christ with a commitment to Anabaptist faith and theology. The Interim Pastor will work together with our Board of Elders and ministry teams to provide spiritual leadership for our congregation and for those who come in contact with our church. The Interim Pastor will help us to prayerfully consider how to put our current vision statement “Making Disciples of Jesus as we Worship, Grow, and Serve in Love” into action.
